Primus acquires Unlimitel Inc.
Toronto, April 7, 2011 - Primus Business Services, a division of Primus Canada Inc., today announced it has acquired Unlimitel Inc. Primus Canada Inc. is a subsidiary of Primus Telecommunications Group Inc. (PTGi) -- OTCBB: PMUG.
Unlimitel Inc., in business since 1997, is a technological leader in the area of VoIP and SIP-based products, providing cost-effective retail SIP solutions to business customers across Canada. Unlimitel and Primus have been technology partners for a number of years and will now offer the combined customer base access to additional product offerings and a greater service reach.

The acquisition will expand Primus' market reach and network footprint to other regions of the country, with a stronger focus in Quebec. Unlimitel Inc. will continue to run as a separate entity of Primus Business Services under the direction of Stephan Monette. The acquisition was completed as of the beginning of March.
